KasKusMenu, up to version 2.7.3, has been released without any license whatsoever and thus may be considered by some as defaulting to the Public Domain.
This is unintentional. The intention of the developers is indeed *not* a Public Domain license.
However, the maintainers also realize that KasKusMenu may also be useful for others, e.g., to serve as the base code upon which other similar (i.e., site-quick-access) extensions may be developed.
Thus, starting version 2.8.0, KasKusMenu is released under the CC-BY-NC-SA license, which reserves some rights for the maintainers.
